Since CSIRO first announced aspirations in 2015, we have been engaging regularly with local residents, community and stakeholder groups about the future of Ginninderra.
We conducted community drop-in sessions in Evatt, Gold Creek and Fraser during September 2015 and Evatt and Gold Creek in August 2016. We’ve also discussed the project and our aspirations with more than 30 local community interest groups and provided regular updates or presentations to community councils and government agencies and representatives at local and federal levels.
In 2017 and 2018 we worked closely with the Ginninderra Catchment Group, local school, scout and community groups and a host of community volunteers to run the very popular community shrub planting days which have provided a great boost to the woodland restoration work on site.
To keep in contact with the community and a range of stakeholders we release regular news and blog articles through this website, monthly e-newsletter and Facebook page.
You can subscribe to the newsletter below to receive updates on the project and information about upcoming events and activities.
